Even with a brand-new trailer, Jay found things I never would have noticed. The report was incredibly detailed and easy to understand.”

An NRVIA Certified Inspection is a thorough, unbiased evaluation of an RV’s condition, performed by a certified inspector trained by the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA).
This type of inspection is designed to give you a clear, honest picture of an RV’s current condition, whether it’s new, used, dealer-owned, or private party. It goes far beyond a quick walk-through or dealer prep checklist.
At RV Pro Solutions, our NRVIA Certified Inspection includes:
• 165+ inspection points across all major RV systems
• Evaluation of 40+ systems/components, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, roof, chassis, and more
• 50–80 high-resolution photos and optional 360° interior/chassis imaging
• Fluid sampling (when requested) for engine, transmission, and generator
• A 70+ page digital report, delivered within 24 hours
NRVIA inspectors must follow a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, ensuring that our evaluations are independent, detailed, and in your best interest—not the seller’s.
To ensure we deliver the most accurate and thorough RV inspection possible, we’ll need access to the following:
• Full access to the RV, including all interior and exterior compartments for the duration of the inspection
• Keys to all locked areas, including the engine compartment (for motorhomes)
• Running water connected to the RV
• Electrical service appropriate to the RV (20, 30, or 50 AMP)
• Sewage hook-up, if available
• A stable, dry, and level parking area where the RV can remain throughout the inspection
• Remote controls with working batteries for onboard systems (TVs, stereos, awnings etc.)
• The refrigerator should be turned on and running for at least 12 hours prior to inspection (if possible)
Our RV Pro Elite Inspection is a Certified NRVIA Inspection that includes a detailed 70+ page report, covering 165 inspection points across more than 40 RV systems. Your report will also feature 50 to 80 high-resolution photos, documenting tested components, evaluated systems, and any areas of concern.

No, I do not perform repairs on any RV I’ve inspected. While I am a Registered RV Technician with the RVTAA, the NRVIA Code of Ethics prohibits inspectors from performing repairs on a unit they’ve inspected for at least one year. This important rule exists to maintain true independence and impartiality, ensuring that inspection results are unbiased and not influenced by the potential for future repair work.
That said, I know that issues uncovered in an inspection can lead to repair needs (especially for older units or first-time buyers). That’s why I’ve built a trusted network of local RV dealers and certified mobile technicians throughout the Western Carolinas. If repairs or service are needed, I’m happy to connect you with reputable professionals I know and trust.
